Booking Policies

Age Requirement
Guests must be 21 years or older with valid identification to reserve and check into Chebeague Island Inn.

Family Policy
Children under two stay free. Guests aged two to eighteen are considered children, and anyone over eighteen is considered an adult.

Most guest rooms accommodate up to two guests, with the exception of the two room suite. Some rooms may connect to accommodate additional guests. Rollaway beds are not available due to fire code restrictions. A limited number of pack and plays are available upon request.

Deposit Policy
A 50% deposit, inclusive of taxes, is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged at check-in.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival may transfer the original deposit to a revised reservation within 365 days of the original arrival date. The revised reservation must match the original length of stay.

Cancellations made within 2 days of arrival will be charged for the full length of the reserved stay.


Check-In & Checkout

Check-In
Check in begins at 3:00pm EST. If you arrive early, we are happy to hold your luggage until your room is ready.

Checkout
Checkout is at 11:00am EST.

Late checkout may be available for a $75 fee and extends checkout until 1:00pm EST. Departures later than 1:00pm may be charged an additional night’s stay.


General Policies

Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages served at the Inn are available to guests 21 years or older with valid identification. Outside alcohol may not be consumed in public areas of the property.

Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the Inn or restaurant. Dogs are welcome on the lawn areas when kept on a leash.

Smoking
Chebeague Island Inn is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted inside the Inn or restaurant. A $200 cleaning fee will be charged if smoking occurs indoors.


Breakfast

Breakfast is included for overnight guests and served daily in the dining room. Hours may vary seasonally.


Payment Policies

Accepted Payment Methods
Chebeague Island Inn accepts major credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

Credit & Debit Cards
Credit or debit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of the stay plus incidentals. Authorized funds may take several days after departure to be released by your bank.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be purchased online or by contacting the Inn directly. Gift certificates must be presented at check-in, and a credit card will still be required for incidentals.


Privacy Policy

Chebeague Island Inn respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information submitted through our website, reservation system, or contact forms may include your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address. This information is used only to respond to inquiries, process reservations, or communicate with guests.
